Floors

We (and by we I mean Greg) got our floor joists down!
This is the wood for our floors

The support beams. It's nailed to the cement at the bottom and the boards laying across the top help to keep the beam stable so it doesn't tip over, which really sucks if that happens. Those little walls are called pony walls and I built them! They, apparently, are extra support for where the walls are going to be. I dunno, all you architects know why...

and outside shot of the floors. The guys are some of our neighbors

The joists going up. The square is the crawl space

Our awesome *soon to be* neighbors who helped Greg out.

All done! *that's the master bed/bath*

Notice the lack of wood now! The other stack of wood is for the sub flooring. Nicely done guys!!

We have inspection on Tuesday and if/when we pass we can start putting the sub flooring down!
